We are dedicated to honoring God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ through night and day worship & prayer.
Vision
The Traverse City House of Prayer is made up of a unified group of believers from many Christian churches. We are
committed to ministering corporately to the Lord through contemporary worship music partnered with prayer. Our
meetings are open to all who share our desire to honor the Lord and seek His face.
We desire to set our hearts to love God, worship Him alone, and dedicate our lives to serving Him without reservation, and to love others.
We desire to proclaim and to prepare for the return of the Lord through night and day worship and intercession.
We desire to give people the opportunity to develop and function in the gifts the Lord has given them.
We desire to see believers in Christ succeed and prosper in the Spirit of wisdom and revelation and grow in the knowledge of the Lord through biblical teaching and practical training.
We desire to partner with the local church to strengthen believers.
We desire to passionately pursue a holy lifestyle devoted to glorifying God.
What We Are Not
The Traverse City House of Prayer is not a church. It is a para-church ministry, not affiliated with any church, and is directed by lay leaders. We seek to bring all believers together for additional times of worship and prayer through out the week.
The Traverse City House of Prayer is not a substitute for church. We encourage all those who attend the Traverse City House of Prayer to be involved in a local Christian church of their choice, and to be in a place of accountability and
service with a local church family.
